Today was playoff game #3. The girls are doing so well, and they are having so much fun. It's great to win, but we are most proud of the way they play the game and the fun they have. The rain held off just long enough for us to finish this game!
Coach Joe found some gloves for Jenna, and she loved them! We have nicknamed them the "Gloves of Glory" because they seem to give her the confidence to make some very ESPN-like moves.
After the game we headed over to our end-of-season party (thank goodness for the win because our last two parties followed losses). The girls had a blast playing together while the adults mingled.
Coach Paul and Coach Joe gathered everyone for some comments. Coach Paul congratulated the girls on a great season, the parents on their great sideline behavior, and he and Coach Joe took turns highlighting the girls individually. The smiles on their faces were priceless as they listened to what their coaches thought of their growth. We had a great team and were so fortunate to have these coaches for our first soccer experience.
