Happy Birthday Jenna!

Happy 12th birthday to our Jenna!  What an amazing girl she is!  We're so excited for her special birthday.  She is in middle school and will now be in the Young Women's program at church.  Such a great time in her life!  Jenna started her day with birthday pancakes from McDonald's which mom picked up on the way back from Seminary.  Lots of fun presents were waiting for her after school, and she put on her best sillies as she got her homework done super quick.  Her birthday dinner of choice was Slater's 50/50 where she had her favorite half bacon, half beef burger.  The ginormous chocolate cake was on the house, and grandpa got to join us.  Present opening was da bomb.  Not too many though since she chose to take friends to Get Air next weekend.  That is her big present this year.

Jenna is such a character.  She is very talented athletically and artistically, and she is very thoughtful about the things she does.  She is our fashionista and she has the funniest sense of humor--dry like her Grandpa Ron's and her mom's.  She pulls out deadpan, funny one-liners all the time.  My favorite part about her is her artistic flair and willingness to try many different types of art.  She loves her twice-a-month art class with my friend, Shea, where she gets to go to the art studio with Sarah and create all kinds of fun projects with different mediums.  She is patient and creative.  We're so glad she is a member of our family, and we can't wait to see what great things she accomplishes this year!
