Concert Night

Performances are over for now, and I'm planning to lounge around for awhile. Ha, ha! Really, I must clean my house. It's been a busy season for our family, and it will be good to reconnect with our schedule that hasn't been quite in place since May.

Last night, we had a successful evening with two back-to-back performances with nearly sold-out audiences. Having the first concert at 5:30 p.m. made babysitting arrangements and getting kids to bed on time so much easier. The hub even got to get to bed earlier. Yay!

Dad enjoys attending our concerts. We both had our cameras and were thinking the same thing...we don't have any pictures of us for any of the seven concerts he's attended.

A mom was snapping photos outside the concert hall so I jumped in and got one myself. The hall is really beautiful.

This is an inside photo of the hall. Our choir is much larger than it was at the time the photo was taken, but you can get a sense for the size of the hall in this picture.

It was SO fun to know that several good friends were out in the audience together. They made it a girls night out complete with pre-concert dinner. Thanks girls for all your support! I can't tell you how fun it was to see you all after the concert!
