Jenna decided that she needs to earn some money. Last night she announced that she will be willing to do what I suggest for jobs. Today she decided that washing the cars was worth the $5 per vehicle (I gave her $6 per vehicle for her great effort and initiative). She was a trooper. She collected her money, paid her $4.63 debt to me, set aside her tithing, and happily stored the rest in her wallet. She's already asking what she can do tomorrow.
I'd love any ideas for what you've had your kids do for extra jobs and what you've paid them.

Gavin picks up dog poo. I guess that wouldn't apply to you guys. He also weeds the flower beds, vacuums, and dusts. He is a pretty good trooper about that.
Maybe she could sort laundry or fold clothes?
My 11 year old washed both our cars yesterday - but she only made $5 - you pay better than I do!
My mum used to make a list at the beginning of the summer. Everything she didn't want to do was on it, from dishes to laundry to de-caterpillaring the tomato plants, and each job had a price. I think you could earn the most mony (a whole 50p) for hoovering the stairs. It was a good system - jobs go done, and we got money! Sounds like you might have to put a daily max on Jenna though, or lower your prices!! :)
