Caravan and Northern CA
Our caravan to Northern California got started a little late due to some car trouble, but we made it in time for dinner with my cousin Kim and her family. It was so good to get there and see everyone again. Aunt Margie came out from Missouri after the memorial services were concluded there, and it was really good to see her. Kim's sister, Carrie, and my sister, Michelle, were the only two of the six of us cousins who were unable to come, and we missed them. Kim's new house is on the water, and it was not long before the kids were in their suits and in the water. Kim and I took a paddle boat ride with Easton, but we eventually had to call it a night because it was getting so dark. We had fun chatting and hanging out together before turning in. Kim wins for most people sleeping in one house! Hers is the relatively the same size as ours, but her great room helped a lot with floor space. We added our 13 to her 5 and made it all work!
