On December 1, I was feeling pretty on-the-ball getting out our advent and Santa countdown. Who knew it would take another week before the tree was up? We finally got it down with all the Christmas boxes, and Kelly and the girls assembled it. It's been tradition since the girls were little, and they get into it. Jenna set up a 'store' for Heather to purchase tree limbs at. Kelly patiently assembled while sneezing (the tree is quite dusty).
We also hung the mistletoe that Kelly's scouts collected. It's special 'hugging' mistletoe collected from a local forest. The idea was that an extra 10 hugs per household would bring hundreds of extra hugs this Christmas. The mistletoe was packaged and handed out to the families in our ward. I thought this pretty clever of my spouse.
