Although we try really hard not to over schedule our lives, they just seem to get that way. In the midst of feeling over scheduled, my friend, Michelle, and I decided on a whim to run and get lunch with our girls. It was early release day, and neither of us had anything pressing, so we went for it. After lunch, we saw the BOGO sign in the Payless Shoes window, and both Michelle and I mentioned at the same time that the girls needed PE shoes. So, again we went for it. The girls found their needed shoes plus some other high-heeled gems, and a fashion show was born. Right there in the middle of the shoe store isle. Yep. You cannot plan this kind of silliness. It was one of those snapshot moments that made us mommas feel like we chose wisely that day when we went with the girlfriend time. After shopping, Sarah came over for a bit and checked out the new crate for the dog with Jenna. The played with Sariah, and Sarah was a good sport to recreate the photo we took of Sarah and Sariah when we first brought puppy home. It's amazing to see the growth of this dog in just 5 months! Anyway, what a wonderful and very fun afternoon. If a window of opportunity opens up for you to have a little fun with your kids, just go with it! You won't regret it.
