Heather played her last volleyball games today for her club. The team was finally up against some taller teams who could hit which meant that Heather was able to get some great blocks. One of the two setters set Heather several times keeping Heather engaged (the other setter refuses to set Heather except when there isn't another option), and she even got a couple of passes in that saved some points. She was looking pretty empowered the whole day. I asked her later on if it was more fun to play/block going up against teams that were hitting, and she definitely agreed that seeing more action at the net made the game more fun. We're really proud of her for sticking through the season with all her doubts and emotions. She impressed big time today, and we're super proud of her for going out on a high note.
