Camping at San Elijo State Beach

We spent our annual family vacation at our favorite camp ground at San Elijo State Beach.  It is between Encinitas and Del Mar in a tiny town called Cardiff By The Sea.  Very quaint and beautiful.  Kelly's family has camped here since he was a little guy, and he and I have continued the tradition since the year we were married 22 years ago.

We had several cloudy days, but the sunny ones were beautiful!  At the bottom of that blue sky is beautiful blue ocean.

Here are the cutest little campers ever...

We alternate between eating at 'home' and eating out.  With our new RV, we have a working stove and a microwave.  This year we had homemade tacos, spaghetti and meatballs and barbeque chicken.  Not too shabby for camping!

That looks like you had so much! I miss the beach. Maybe next year we will come visit for a day or two. Glad you had a great time.
