Since we've been going strong so many days in a row, we decided to lay low at the house today. The kids played Wii and had some outdoor time. Their fort was so cute. They built a pretend fire and used logs to shore up the entrance against storms in the wilderness. Very clever.
The moms stayed inside and continued to scrapbook. It's so fun to have so much uninterrupted time to work on the girls' books.
For dinner we went to a cute place called Dad's Diner. It's an old train car done up in a 50's style. They serve heaps of yummy food. They even had some jalapeno sauce for Heather. She tried a taco for the first time that wasn't from Del Taco. I was proud of her for trying it out. The sauce helped.
