There was so much potential with these. They sounded yummy, and Jenna was excited to whip up her pick for the week.





Don't they look just dreamy? There were a few snags.
#1 The recipe, out of the blue, said to add the milk to the flour mixture. What milk? Good thing I had some.
#2 They tasted like a biscuit instead of a cupcake.
On the good news side, I did buy a new cupcake recipe book. We're going to be switching over soon.

I think the best part of the cupcakes were the hand delivery to my door by a very cute little girl! I agree that the cake needed something - it reminded me of a scone. However, the frosting/cookie combo was delish and I need to find something to put that combo on. Perhaps a spoon?
If looks count, you have a winner. Sorry they didn't taste so good. Jenna looks like a pro.
Did you put fall stuff out yet? I see the pumpkin. Gavin and I were walking yesterday and this house was overloaded with Halloween stuff already.
