Jenna's Birthday

Our baby turned 8 today! There are many fun celebrations planned in the coming weeks, but today was the actual day.

The morning began with donning the Japanese robe that Grandpa brought Mommy from Japan. There was Lunar New Year Celebration going on at school, and it was Jenna's grade's turn to wear their Asian clothing. Heather did it the day before. We even had chopsticks for the hair. We sent doughnut holes and juice boxes to school with Jenna so she could sneak in a quick birthday snack with her class.

After school, Jenna got to open one of her presents. Grandpa had arrived, but Dad wasn't home yet, so we saved a couple for him to see her open later. Jenna chose Heather's present to open.

Heather got Jenna a new leotard for gymnastics!

Since it was early release day for the girls, we headed to Disneyland to renew Jenna's pass and spend some time there. Sarah and Michelle Holbrook joined us which was extra fun. Grandpa was with us and Daddy joined us later. It was super fun!

Jenna got a call from Aunt Beth while we were in line for Dumbo.

It was so fun to spend time at our favorite family hang out with our good friends!

Later that evening, Mommy went to choir, Daddy took the little girls to Subway for dinner, and Jenna opened some more presents. She was so excited about her DSi game from Grandpa! She also got her first watch and some little undershirts. Along with getting her Disneyland pass renewed, she had a pretty stellar day in the gift department! Saturday is her party with friends, and next week will be her baptism. More fun to come!
