Summer Blast!

Summer Blast is held on the last day of school. It is a carnival type event where the kids are allowed to roam the field participating in a variety of activities. I operated the potato sack races this year for our 5th grade class event.

Jenna and Sarah neck and neck...

Jenna, Ava and Sarah show off their matching tatoos and fuzzy rings.

Heather's friends all joined in a race...

Caleb and Heather did a couple of races.

Heather and her girlfriends all showed up with funny things to wear. Heather found the mustaches in the dollar section at Target. She is going to miss her fun friends when they go to the Jr. High next year.
WELCOME SUMMER! HERE WE COME!

I totally missed the potato sack race. I worked the frisbee toss booth with Jodi, which wound up hurting my back (we eventually told the kids that if they threw the frisbee into our hands they got extra candy) because we had to bend over a million times to pick them up. There has to be a better way!
