Each summer we lose a few of our favorite families to relatives in Utah for weeks at a time. This summer is no different. As the Holbrooks were making preparations to depart, Caleb, Sarah, Jenna and Heather were getting their last few hours of playtime in. I snapped this photo of these friends, who are more like siblings, at about 9:15 p.m. in my back yard. We walked them home and said so long for the month of July. We'll all be together again in August, and fortunately the Peterson girls have some travel time planned so they won't be sitting around missing the neighbors too much. It's so great to have good friends like we do, although we might need family counseling if they ever move away.
