We have a family pass for the Los Angeles Zoo that came with guest passes. This was a great opportunity to go to the zoo with Aunt Michelle and Gavin. Of course it is always super hot in the summer, so we were a little beat up by that, but we had water, hats and some spray bottles with us. We didn't last too long, but it was enough time to see all the great animals.
The giraffes are among our favorites. There was a little family this time!
Of course the kids had other ideas for the spray bottles besides the misting. Here, Gavin puts the nozzle on stream and attempts to shoot water through the gap in Jenna's teeth! They thought this was great fun.
The Twilight fan in me had to have this picture. We never saw the deer, but this drawing depicts the little fangs on the side of its mouth. Too funny.
