It is difficult to give thanks for trials. Let's face it--no one wants them! I have been able to be grateful, however, for the lessons learned from trials. I have wisdom now that I didn't have ten years ago, and I have a spiritual depth that was not there even five years ago. Were it not for the "intense complexities", I would not have learned the "intense simplicities" that were waiting for me all along. For these lessons, I am grateful.

I, too am grateful for all that is learned from trials. Sometimes it is the only way we grow.
